García was quoted over the weekend in an article discussing the impact of ICE chief John Morton’smemo explaining ICE’s removal priorities. Morton’s widely circulated memo providesICE attorneys with guidance on how to exercise their prosecutorial discretion.Morton instructs ICE counsel to move to dismiss removal proceedings againstindividuals who appear eligible for relief from removal.

Given Attorney García’s large removal practice Morton’sdirective stands to impact several of his clients.
