Two crImmigration events in Minneapolis

Two crImmigration events are taking place at the University of Minnesota Law School in Minneapolis this week that will interest crImmigrationistas. On Thursday, October 17, the Robina Institute of Criminal Law and Criminal Justice will explore the work of groundbreaking scholar Yolanda Vazquez (University of Cincinnati). Professor Juliet Stumpf (Lewis & Clark), Professor Stephen Meili (University of Minnesota), and local attorney Susana De León will join Professor Vazquez in a roundtable discussion of her scholarship about the use of crImmmigration as a means of targeting Latin@s.

The following day Vazquez and Stumpf will join other scholars from the United States and Europe to discuss the human rights implications of crImmigration law. Both events are free and open to the public.
